A person in control is a person who can perceive realities correctly. And one of the most important realities to understand is that absolutely everything in life has a price: love, friendship, material gain, a relaxed mind, the freedom to come and go as you please....anything which adds pleasure to your existence. If you think otherwise, you only open the door to endless frustration. Whether the required payment be in money, time, energy, discomfort, try not to kid yourself. Just pay it so that you can enjoy the rewards of a clear mind and a happier life.
Eliminating people problems requires that you face the reality that people possess an unlimited number of potentially harmful traits, that you learn the art of spotting these harmful traits.....That you develop the ability and self-discipline either to ignore their harmful actions or, in extreme cases, just stop meeting them.
Intimidation....motivation through fear....is one of the ways people use to cause others problems. You should not get into their traps.
When someone bugs you with irrational rhetoric actions, just ignore him. That is the best way. You have no obligation to deal with irrational people. You have a right to live your life as you please. You should live on your own terms.
