Work, Worship, Love, And Play

We suppose all of us havec wondered sometime or other, if there is some particular way of living that would assure us a reasonably contended and happy personal life. Yes there is....work, worship, love, and play. It is the exercise of these, each in its proper proportion, that we find the satisfaction of our basic needs. It is also through them that we obtain many of the extra things that all of us individually have learned to want and desire for a richer life.

You must remember that is through the first of these, work, that we acquire our material necessities and luxuries of life. People have created new medicines, new machines, for the betterment of humanity, through work. Lots of charity work is going on in the world by people who are compassionate toward the less fortunate member of the society.

And, it is through worship that we satisfy the race old yearning of reaching upward to a Power or Nature or God greater than ourselves. It gives us peace of mind and provide us strength in the time of adversity. It is only through it that man, realizing his inadequacies, can find security in life. It is man, the limited, drawing strength from the unlimited.

And it is only through Love that man becomes a happy man. This emotion help us to raise our families happily, to forgive people of their wrong doing, to do charity work for the benefit of humanity.

Next come play. By play we mean doing something just for the joy of doing it, just going out for a walk with some friend or spouse, tending a flower bed, or painting a picture. Play is the great balancer in life. It relaxes us, the destroyer of tensions.

So, as a recipe for happy living, we give you the work, worship, love, and play.
