The one method for handling stress in your life is this: Know who you are. This is criticallly important in stress management because if you don't know who you are, someone else may try to tell you who they think you are. If you don't know who you are, you will subconsciously let other people manipulate you and pressure you into believing you are somebody you aren't.
We all make mistakes, and sometimes they are pretty bad. But a failure can become a stepping-stone to success. Always remember this.
depression is one of the greatest problems in the world today. It has been called the common cold of emotional illnesses. Everyone gets depressed at times, but some people are depressed nearly all the time. And it's not limited to poor people or people with physical ailments.
If you think in a negative way, you are going to feel depressed. Your emotions are caused by how you interpret life. If you look at life from a negative viewpoint, you're going to get down.
If you want to get rid of negative emotions, you have to change the way you think. To overcome depression you must get your incorrect attitudes about life corrected. If you look at things from the right point of view, that goes a long way toward not being depressed.

How To Handle Fear Of Unknown
Taking the time to research can eliminate many things you don't know about a project, an event, a health concern or a relationship. When you are prepared, doubt retreats and confidence grows. In short, expect the best, prepare for the worst.
During a stressful job with many unknowns, you should prepare ahead of time, but once the job begins, try to stay in the present and focus on the process of what you are doing.
Always remember, if everything was known, we wouldn't continue probing. If explorers and scientists had not surmounted their fear of the unknown, we'd still be all cooped up on one or two continents and terrified of fire.
Expect the unexpected is a healthy mindset as long as you don't spend all day expecting to be successful 100 percent of the time and in control of every detail.
If you fear the future too much, you may not be living enough in the present.
Always accept that there will be things in the future that you may feel deeply concerned and even helpless about. But remember that if there are no unknowns in your life, you likely aren't taking any chances.

Some Soul-Searching Questions
Think and name the person you found it most difficult to forgive for something, who was it, and what for?
Think and name one thing for which you could never forgive someone, even a loved one, what would it be?
If you were to cite an example that defined "TRUST" for you, what would it be?
If you were to name the two sides of your personalities that are most contradictory, what would you say?
If you could have one thing said about you by everyone after your death, what would you want them to say?
Think and select one thing you wish you hadn't witnessed or experienced in your life, what would you say it was?
Think and name the most difficult thing for you to talk about, what would it be?
If you were to name the person you've had a continuous psychological power struggle with, who would it be?
Think and name a time when your body and mind were at odds with each other.
If you had to name your biggest contribution to helping mankind, what would you say?
If you were to name the music that has touched your soul the most deeply, what would it be?
If God were to appear briefly before you in any form you choose, what would it be?
If you had to define the circumstances under which it is ethically right to lie, what would they be?
If you had to describe the circumstances under which it would be ethically to break the law, what would you say?

Powerful Thoughts To Consider
Safe popular freedom consists of four things: The diffusion of liberty, of intelligence, of property, and of conscientiousness, and cannot be compounded of any three out of the four.
Joseph Cook
The objectives of education and industry are identical. Both are interested in good citizenship, in serving society, in a better life---and both firmly believe in freedom.
Herman L. Donovan
It is better for a man to go wrong in freedom than to go right in chains.
Thomas H. Huxley
No nation deserves freedom or can long retain it which does not win for it for itself. Revolutions must be made by the people and for the people.
Giuseppi Mazzini
Those who expect to reap the blessing of freem must undertake to support it.

You Can Program Yourself For Success
Is the glass half full, half empty? It's a classic example that drives home a very powerful point--you see what you want to see. We all have the same five senses. Yet the sensory input that we receive must be interpreted before we can understand and act on it. Though we often cannot control the reality of the world, we have complete control over our perception and interpretation of reality. And we have complete control over the actions we take in response. And it is that perception, and those actions, that make all the difference in life.
Everyone's alarm clock sounds basically the same. Only to the successful person, however, is it the sound of opportunity. What does your alarm clock sound like?
Everyone's copy of the daily newspaper contains the same articles. However, only the coply that lands in the successful person's driveway has stories of unlimited possibilities and oppotunities.
You can literally program yourself for success by changing the way you perceive the world around you. You will find what you look for. The so-called "REALITY" of the outside world is only a mirror. A mirror which confirms and gives evidence to the vision that you have on the inside.
Always remember, the world is what you expect it to be, and nothing else. Expect the best and that is the kind of world you will create.

Have A Purpose In Life
Your life has purpose and meaning. You are not here to fill space or to be a background character in someone else's movie. Consider this: nothing would be the same if you did not exist. Every place you have ever been and everyone you have ever spoken to would be different without you.
We are all connected, and we are all affected by the decisions and even the existence of those around us.
Studies of older people find that one of the best predictors of happiness is whether a person considers his or her life to have a purpose. Without a clearly defined purpose, seven in ten individuals feel unsettled about their lives; with a purpose, almost seven in ten feel satisfied.

Focus Your Life
Most people have no real focus for their future. As a result, they often get caught up in a day-to-day troubles without achieving any of their goals. Having a future focus not only makes life more exciting, it helps make any short-term problems more bearable.
To experience a fundamentally happier life, decide where you would like to be in five years and work very seriously toward it everyday. See it clearly, believe in it. Take proper action to make it a reality. Take out a pen and some writing pad. Imagine your ideal life in five years. Where would you live? How would you work? What would you have achieved?
It's impossible to feel discouraged and depressed if you have a strong future focus that you work with hope and consistency every day.

How To Increase Your Energy
One of the most limiting factors when you are working toward your goals is your level of energy. You can reduce the number of times you feel too tired to achieve your goals by following the given below suggestions.
You must eat a light lunch containing protein to ensure afternoon energy.
You must drink lots of water during a day.
Eat plenty of grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables.
You must exercise four times a week, for at least 30 minutes for your good health.
Eat some thing which contains sugar in midafternoon when most people's blood sugar drops.

Avoid Negative Self-Talk In Your Life
We are what we think about all day long.
Ralph waldo Emerson
Some examples of negative self-talk.
You can't do that.
You're very stupid.
You'll never make anything of yourself.
You're ugly.
You're fat ot thin.
You're hopeless.
You have low self-esteem.
You can't face the world.
Do you ever say things like these to yourself? Lots of people do---in fact, most of us do at one time or another.
They're not very complimentary or inspiring, are they?
How do you imagine they would make you feel? Depressed? Useless? Completely drained of self-confidence?
These are some of the examples of negative self-talk, and they can have a hugely detrimental effect on our emotional state, our behavior, and our self-esteem.
Try to bring positive self-talk in your life for your good health, success, peace of mind and happiness.

Tips To Success And Happiness
Try to learn from your mistakes and blunders, but you must remember that there is nothing you can do to change the fact that they happened, but definitely there is much you can do to move positively beyond them.
Always remember that your past history does not create your future. The choices you make today are what create the substance of that future.
Three things in life that are most valuable:

Words To Live By
Remember that you ought to behave in life as you would at a banquet. As something is being passed around, it comes to you. When it comes to you, stretch out your hand gently, take a portion of it politely, but pass it on. or, it has not come to you yet. Do not project your desire to meet it. So act always in life.
Epicteus
There is no greater trouble for thee than thine own self, for when thou art occupied with thyself, thou remainest away from God.
Abu Sa'id
Love bears it out to the edge of doom.
William Shakespeare
You learn to speak by speaking, to study by studying, to run by running, to work by working; in just the same way, you learn to love by loving.
Saint Francis De Sales
We have to take the whole universe as the expression of the one Self. Then only our love flows to all beings and creatures in the world equally.
Swami Ramdas
Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude.

Random Positive Thoughts To Consider
Adapt yourself to the life you have been given; and truly love the people with whom destiny has surrounded you.
An angry look is absolutely unnatural. If it's constantly put on, the result is that all beauty dies, and eventually becomes completely extinguished and can never be lit up again.
If someone is in error, instruct them kindly and show them where they have gone wrong. If this doesn't correct them, blame yourself, or better, blame no one.
It is a peculiaryly human characteristic to love even those who do us wrong. This love is born when you recognize others as your brothers, who do wrongly blindly, through ignorance.
When you want to cheer yourself up, think of the good qualities of those you live with. For instance, the energy of one, the modesty of another, the generosity of a third, and so on.
For nothing gives us as much pleasure as seeing the examples of the virtues presented in abundance by those who live among us. Therefore keep them always near at hand.

Live A Balanced Life
If you've given yourself these names: good, modest, true, rational, contented, and principled, then take care not to let others take their place. Should you lose them, quickly try to get them back.
Remember that the term rational implies a careful attention to every single thing without neglecting a detail; contentment lies in a willing acceptance of the things assigned to you by universal Nature; and principled is holding the thinking mind above the pleasurable and painful sensations of the flesh, above petty reputation, and death, and all such things.
If you can live up to these names, without wishing others to call you by them, you will become a changed man and will enter a new life. Therefore ground yourself in the possession of these few names, and if you are able to live by them, live as if you had drifted to the island of the blessed. But if you realize that they've escaped your grasp and you've lost them, go bravely into some corner of your mind where they may be sheltered, or even slip away at once from life, not in agitation, but with simplicity, freedom, and self-respect, having accomplished at least one admirable thing in your life: the way in which you left it.

Knowledge Necessary To Fulfill Your Goals
Although a good education is very important, specific knowledge is always more valuable. How many people do you know who have gone to school for years and then have no valid use for their education? There are virtually millions of people who fall into this category. specific knowledge is a means of learning what you need to know to succeed in life. It is the practical application and the means to an end in the learning process.
What good is an education if you cannot use it? We are conditioned to believe we must get as much education as we can in order to advance in life.
The true answer is that we must develop as much knowledge as possible in life to succeed because through knowledge comes wisdom (understanding). This is the process of true wealth in life. Gain knowledge and wisdom. Use them wisely, and you will be granted wealth beyond all your expectations.

Take Time To Think Calmly And Clearly
You must remember that before you respond to life's problems, take time to think clearly and calmly about what you are doing. Before you respond to the situations that come your way, take time to remember who you are and the direction you want to take to solve them.
You must remember that an emotional reaction made in haste can often push you back even more than the event to which you are reacting. On the other hand, a calm, thoughtful response can usually bring a positive outcome from what would otherwise be a negative situation.
You must remember that before you say something you could regret for a long time, always take a moment to calmly consider it.
You must remember that before you do something that might take years to overcome, take a moment to thoughtfully consider your response.
You must remember that a calm, well-considered response is a right response. Always take time to think, and the way you respond will keep you moving positively forward towards your success in life.

Open Your Heart And Mind
Keeping things inside does not make them any better. In fact, holding on the secret fears, and secret feelings makes them seem a lot worse than they probably are. When you keep things on the inside, the weight of it all can tear you up, hold you down, push you into situations that do not serve your best interests. Holding on to things can cause all sorts of disease, chemical and emotional imbalance, complete confusion and plain old despair.
When you have a lot going inside, you must find some to let it out. You can talk about it. You might cry about it. If you are alone, you can shout about it. You can run it out, walk it off or go to the gym and work it out. You must let someone know what is going on inside of you. It is tempting to eat about it, drink about it or blow it up in smoke. A better strategy is to write about.
Each of us comes to that point when we trust someone enough to open ourselves up for review and examination. It's not always easy! It is a challenge to admit or acknowledge your own faults. It is even more difficult to accept that we have made some costly mistakes, poor decisions and bad choices. For some reason it seems that we don't want people to know that we are human. But we are we cannot hide what we feel forever. It is essential to our sense of well-being that we find a way to open up and let someone know what is going on inside.

Behave In A Responsible Manner
In life, as in nature, we experience the consequences of our actions. Some consequences benefit us in very positive ways. Others teach harsh lessons. But no action avoids having some effect on our lives and on the lives of other people, too.
It is fortunate that each of us has personal power over our actions. Individually and collectively we are in control, every moment, of the actions that cultimate in good or bad consequences for all humanity.
It is easy to overlook the ramification of our strong attitude toward a co-worker, or our temper tantrum because we thought a loved one let us down. We easily justify our treatment of others, and seldom take responsibility for the consequences we triggered. And yet our emotional maturity and our personal happiness are directly related to our commitment to behave in a responsible manner.....we not only adversely affect others by our negative behavior, we hamper our personal progress, too.

Everybody Loves A Winner
We all know winners.....People who are personally and professionally successful in their lives. What makes them stand out? Looks? Wealth? Charisma? These things are just a small part of the picture.
Being a winner is most learned, not inherited. Here are some qualities that can give you a winning attitude:
Self-Esteem.....If asked to list three people you most want to be liked, would you put yourself on the list? Winners would. You have to believe in yourself.
Control....We all face circumstances beyond our control. But winners don't let those events take control. For example, you can't control what an angry person says to you, but you can choose how you react.
Optimism.....Expecting a positive outcome generally produces positive results. By contrast, if you believe you will fail you probably will.
Vision....to get where you want to go, you need a goal. Outline a plan for reaching it, then set your priorties accordingly.
Resilience.....Winners see opportunity in mistakes, and every defeat, another step toward success. Coping with failure builds strength, confidence and knowledge.
Help People.....Winners help other people succeed by listening, guiding and setting positive examples.

Setbacks Do Bring Valuable Motivation
No one likes to suffer setbacks in life. That's precisely what makes them so valuable. Every setback is an opportunity for you to get your own personalized supply of a special energy that will propel you forward. That energy is known as MOTIVATION.
Think of how an illness can motivate you, like nothing else, to take better care of your health. Consider how a financial setback can provide the compelling motivation to be more financially responsible.
When a setback comes, the first priority is to deal with it and get beyond it. After that's done, and you've experienced it fully, you're blessed with an increased level of motivation and focus. In your highly motivated state, you can easily take steps to immunize yourself against similar setback in the fututre.
Nobody seek disappintment; but when the setbacks do come, they bring with them a valuable, compelling, personally meaningful motivation. It's something you can use to great advantage and achieve success beyond your wildest imagination.

Try To Face Difficulties
When you run away from difficulties your whole life is impaired. Consider a person who never devotes the time needed to bring a project to completion. When the inevitable obstacles arise, he becomes distracted and discouraged and may even quit. By jumping from project to project, and completing none of them, he is never able to take command of his life.
Learning to solve problems and see projects through to completion is a skill that you can still acquire. Make a list of any conflicts in your life and try to resolve them.
Two major factors prevent people from resolving conflicts and moving forward with their lives.
Believing you're not enough. You will limit your growth if you always chastise yourself for not achieving enough. You must learn to be reasonable in your expectations and acknowledge your efforts.
Fear. We live in a time of gross uncertainty; nonspecific fears are universal. Since people do not know how to resolve these fears, they blame them on other people or situations around them. They stop themselves engaging in new activities by rationalizing that they will not like it anyway or that something is bound to go wrong.
Make a list of the things you feel fearful about. Then make a list of your positive attributes, such as persistence, flexibility, and understanding. How can these virtues help you to resolve the conflicts you have listed? By this process you will be able to achieve your goals and aspirations in life.

Replace The Negative With The Positive
Most of the time negative patterns of behavior repeat themselves all day long. Let's say there's something that you cannot handle, or there's something not happening that you wish would happen, or there is a situation in your life that you're not able to be in control of and you wish you were. ....if you're negative you're going to talk out the problem all day long. But you will always be defeatist about it. When people feel overwhelmed, used, hurt, unable to control the outcome of events, or betrayed, they tend to look at themselves as victims.
What would happen if, instead of all this negative self-talk, you started positive self-talk. What can do in place of the negative? That's how the process of change begins.
First, identify when you're engaged in negative self-talk.
Second, don't let the negative go beyond you. Don't allow the negative self-talk to generate the emotion that causes the action. Then you get the reaction that you don't like the consequences of. Stemming this negative pattern keeps you from unnecessary arguments, condeming, blaming, and complaining, and allows you, then, to be at the epicenter of your own life.
The most important is third one in which you replace the negative with the positive. Look at the positive options for solving your problem or improving your situation. Select the one or several that seem the best. And then start implementing them, not in a panicked, desperate way, but witb the resolve and balance. And I assure you that there is a great possibility that you will be able to solve your problems of life witn flying colors.

Persistence Is Essential For Success
When you start a great work or project, you can't expect to finish it all at once, therefore keep working on it, and let nothing discourage you till you have entirely finished what you have begun.
This is the definition of Persistence.
Earning a degree, starting a new business, finding a new job, all these activities are going to take lots of time and energy and effort. Sometimes in the middle of working toward a goal, we lose our motivation. We tell ourselves we're bored or tired or that we just can't do it. This is a natural reaction. But what may really be going on is that we're afraid.
It is human to feel afraid. And it's good for us to know that's how we're feeling. Then we can do something about it. This is the time when we don't want to give up. We have to persist.
We may need a rest. It's okay to take time out to rejuvenate ourselves before we move forward. We also can seek help and encouragement from friends, associates, family.
Once, we are ready, we can start again toward our goal with strong determination and persistance. That means we break down tasks into simple, mangeable activities and take them one step at a time. Before you know it, you'll have achieved your goal.

Always Believe In What You Do
Nothing can stop you if you know that what you're doing is right and it will take you toward your goal. You must believe in the value of your effort, and you have the courage to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
When you know you're on the right track, nothing anyone says can dissuade you. Every circumstance becomes an opportunity. Time becomes your asset, as every moment leads you closer to the attainment of your worthy purpose and aspiration.
You must remember that the time you take, and the effort you spend, to develop an unshakable belief in the value of your work, will pay huge dividends in the commitment, persistence, creatvity, focus and determination it brings you.
You must believe in what you do, and do what you believe in doing. And it will definitely happen. By this process you will achieve your goals in life.

Enthusiasm Is The Key To Success
Enthusiasm can draw people to you and compell them to give their full support. And when you have it, you have a powerful force working in your favor. Looking for a way of getting yourself to do those things that you know must be done? Put some enthusiasm on your side. When you're excited and enthusiastic about where you're going, guess what happens? You'll find a way to get there and achieve your goal.
Besides enthusiasm, you have to believe in your project. So the choice of what to believe is clear. Believe that you can, believe that you will, and you're well on your way to making it happen.
what do you truly believe you can do? The difference between impossible and possible is mainly a matter of belief. A world of things that were once considered impossible are now so common we take them for granted. Each one of those things became reality because someone believed it could happen.
Doubt will kill your project. See how many of your doubts you can replace with positive and compelling beliefs.
You must understand that every moment of every day, your beliefs guide your actions, so you must believe that you can, believe that you will, and your reality of success will follow graciously along.

Acknowledge Your Challenges
You must understand that you have full power over your thoughts. You have power over your actions. You have power over the way you spend your time. You have power over your attitude. You have the power to decide what you find enjoyable, the power to set goals and to achieve them. These powers are very real, quite substantial and immediately accessible.
You should not seek some elusive power over others, it is far more effective to make full use of the power you already have over your own affairs. The most potent power is not the power you seize, but rather the power you exercise.
Challenges play a very important part in life. There is some challenges you face right now which could move you forward in ways you cannot yet imagine. When you consider your resources and good fortune, rarely do you ever include the challenges in that list. Look back at the forward progress you've made and you'll see all the challenges along the way which ultimately served to push you ahead.
Most of the challenges are truly a blessing, though they rarely seem like it at the time they appear. In order to meet the challenges, you must grow, you must learn, you must take action, you must become more focused and effective. All those things are extraordinarily positive uses of your time and energy. They are the qualities which surely and reliably lead to success and achievement beyond your imagination.
What are most profound challenges? In them you'll find astonishing opportunties. Acknowledge your challenges. Experience them. Resolve to overcome them and see what great things you can accomplish in the process.
If you remember this success secret, your life will be very fulfilling and rewarding.

Small Accomplishemts are Essential For Success
Everyday life is very important, because everyday life is where real success is created. Different types of accomplishments are made up of thousands of small, unnoticeable accomplishments. Most of the successful life is built by consistently collecting one successful, positively directed, focused moment after another.
The biggest successes are nothing more than small and big successes which have been achieved over a long period of time. The humble house and the magnificent temple were both built one brick at a time. The difference in the two is not in the nature of the effort, but in the persistence and love of that effort.
Some people stop achieving their goal on the first setback. That kind of attitude won't take you too far in life. Anything is within your reach when you're determined to keep moving steadily toward your life's goals and aspirations. Always remember this important fact.

Getting Rid Of Negative Influences In Your Life
Growth has to begin somewhere. Start by exploring both the constructive and the destructive aspects of your nature. First you must deal with the negative. By dealing with what doesn't work in your life, you are going to know what excuses not to fall back on. You will know why you are not doing that things you've dreamed of doing. You will know why you stay with people who don't support and love you. It's a simple matter of deciding which direction you want to put your energies into...positive or negative.
Once you understand the consequences of your negative qualities, you could say, "Hold on...do I really want to feel this way or go down this path again? I've been so many times and I know that what I'm about to say or do or feel is not going to change things"
I'd rather choose a positive option when dealing with a negative situation which hopefullu help me resolve this constant repetition of old patterns of behavior. Once I have decided that I can make a positive change, then it merely takes the courage to give it a try.
Breaking destructive patterns is the gateway to getting on with your life. Positive input only becomes significant after you deal with the limiting negative factors. Sure, confronting the negative will make you uncomfortable, but the discomfort is necessary...change never occurs without it.
Once you understand your negative characteristics, you can claim your real self by saying, "Hold on, I don't buy into this anymore." Once you resolve these issues you will be able to reclaim the dreams of your life and enact them. And for every problem, you will be able to find a positive solution.

Envy Will Hinder Your Growth In Life

We must wish others well and then concentrate on what we have to offer. We are endowed with many characteristic for which we can be grateful and proud.
Always think positive in life. Always count your blessings. Most of us have equal amounts of opportunities, skills, and we dhould spend lots of our energies to get better in life. We all have gifts that make us special. Let's transform the emotional energy of envy into the power of achievement.

Get Busy Doing Things
When you visualize yourself as trying to do something, you're going to see it as a strugglle. On the other hand, when you visualize yourself as actually doing it, beyond the trying, you'll have the confidence to get it done.
You should remove the word "TRYING" from your mind, and notice how much that one simple change can clarify your activities. Never say, "I'm trying to get this work done" see what happens when you say, "I'm confidently getting this work completed." It makes a big difference in your way of thinking. It helps you to see each action not as a desperate attempt, but rather as confident step forward.
You must understand that when you're only trying, you're taking action without being fully committed to that action. On the other hand, when you decide to step up and actually do it, then you're committed yourself fully to taking whatever action is necessary.
You should go beyond merely trying.....get up and get busy doing action with full determination and confidence. Success can't escape you.

Essential Tips For Communication
Be clear, concise and straightforward.
Keep your sentences short.
Look into the eyes of the person you are speaking to. This gives glimpse of your sincerity and dedication to the other person.
Even if you slip up somewhere, maintain your calm, apologize and continue.
Don't try to reanalyze such slips ups because we wish to promote ourselves and not demote.

Control Your Emotions In Life
The root of all suffering is emotional involment in dealing with various situations and circumstances of life. Tackle all worldly objects and situations objectively, like a spectator, recognizing that the association with them is merely temporary, rather than taking them too seriously.
Always remember that no difficulties or problems are permanent; they all will pass. Everything is in a state of constant motion and change; nothing is permanent or static.
Taking things too seriously in life also results in the formation of deep impression in the subconscious mind, resulting in the development of various biases and prejudies, reducing the ability to see things objectively, as they really are.
In other words, emotions and preferences should gradually be eliminated giving rise to an unbiased and detached mind which can remain calm, serene, and balanced in all the trails and odds of life.

Avoid Fears In Life
Fears chiefly drain mental energy and prevent progress. According to the law of attraction, we actually attract those conditions we fear most, further trapping us in a vicious cycle of mental self-destruction.
Some people constantly fear that the worst will happen, keeping their minds in a state of agitation and turmoil. But there is nothing in this world which we really need to fear. Nothing is designed in the universe to harm us.
By intentionally facing these very things you fear, mentally denying that they can harm you, eventually that fear totally diminishes. Fears leap on you again and again until you overcome them. Also, bear in mind that nothing is actually that fearful in reality as you imagined it would be.
Furthermore, be comforted by the knowledge that nothing happens by chance or by accident. There is a reason for everything that happens to us. Therefore, why fear? Just boldly face each challenge of life with a positive attitude and firm faith in God, the only real security to us.

Heathy Ways To express Hurt And Anger
Be honest with yourself. You should have an honest dialogue with yourself each morning about what is your trouble and what is bothering you. Give yourself the time to reflect on these issues in a quite place.
Always focus on the problem. You should evaluate one problem at a time. Keep your energy focused on finding and promoting solutions until the problem is resolved.
Direct your anger. Your ability to channel anger can make all the difference in whether your feelings are positive or negative. Properly directed, anger can be a driving force in your life. But if channeled incorrectly, it can become mentally and physically destructive.
Think creatively. Reflection allows you to think before you react. You can consider what you want to say, why you want to say it and what will happen when you do. You can think through your options and react in a rational way. In the process, you free yourself from conditioned responses and focus on those that will improve the situation.
Take action. If you are passive in a situation that calls for action, your submissiveness will allow other people to take advantage of you. And this experience, in turn, will breed even more anger. Take action to resolve such situations.
Every time something angers you, ask yourself whether you will act or react to it. Being active allows you to maintain a sense of focus; being reactive does not.

Powerful Thoughts To Consider
We each need to let our intuition guide us, and then be willing to follow that guidance directly and fearlessly.
Shaki Gawain
There are two key words in the world of emotion: training and education. You have to train your emotions in order to be happy. You have to educate them so that you can overcome losses, frustrations, and disappointments.
Run after the things of this world, and quite often what you seek so desperately runs away from you. Covet nothing, crave nothing, and celebrate whatever comes...this is the way of contentment.
We can't be happy if we're not being ourselves.
Fear, desire, hope still push us on toward the fututre.
Michel de Montaigne
Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it. No idleness, no laziness, no procrastination: never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.
Lord Chesterfield
We crucify ourselces between two thieves: regret for yesterday and fear of tomorrow.
Fulton Oursler

Increase Your Concentration And Detachment In Life
As physical exercise improves the strength of body, concentration improves the strength of the mind. A strong mind is not easily affected or disturbed by the trials and hardships of life.
To improve concentration, try to become completely absorbed in every activity, no matter how small or big it may be, shutting out all distractions. For example: when eating a piece of fruit, completely relish each morsel of that fruit; if reading a book, be totally absorbed in it, if doing some project, divide into small steps and with full determination, complete the project.
concentration, in other words, requires learning to remain in the present moment; it is a necessary feature for success and happiness in life.
Along with concentration, also develop the ability to become detached from anything or any task at moment's notice. Some people can concentrate and become totally absorbed in a task, but then find it difficult to forget this activity completely, even when beginning the next activity.
This hang over period shows how attached people become to various things, a habit to avoid.
The world is a great training school, and each experience is intended to provide the necessary training and lessons for growth. These experiences have no intrinsic value, but are only important facilitators of learning and progress.
Hence, only use them for learning and growth without becoming attached to them, and once their purpose is served, move on with your life.
Practice concentration and detachment simultaneously. The ability to forget and remain detached from an undesirable past is a necessary aspect of achieving success in life.

Motivation At Work
To create a satisfying and fulfilling career or business it is important to progress and grow in your position. With the right motivation tips in place, this task is simple. You will be able to accomplish more in less time, increase your chances for promotion, and leave the office feeling better about yourself and your work.
These tips will help you to prepare you to make the most of your time at work. Whether you have a nine-to-five job at the office or work seventy hours a week as a business man, these tips will get you motivated as soon as you walk through the doors.
Go to work with a purpose and get excited about this. Make a mental or physical list of things you need to accomplish at work. Look over your list the night before you go to work. You can even review your list in the morning.
This tip will save you an enormous amount of time because you will know exactly what needs to be done as soon as you walk through the office doors.
Work to-do list. After you have compiled a task or project list, keep it in a close drawer or desk. Each time you accomplish an item, cross it out and move to the next item. Have the list clearly displayed in the office when you leave.
In the morning, you will come in, examine the list, and know exactly what needs to be accomplished
Keep your door clsed. Constant distraction can make getting things done very difficult. Simply shutting your door while you are busy is a great way to keep the distractions to a minimum.
We all enjoy social interactions but when things need to be done on time, a little more focus may be necessary.

How To Feel More Optimistic In Life
You must distract yourself from negative thoughts. Every time you catch yourself complaining, resenting, promptly immerse yourself in an activity that will take your mind off the negative and troubling thoughts. It is not easy but with sincere effort you will be able to do this and you feel more optimistic.
It is a fact that two common causes of pessimism are fear and hate. The negative danger of these emotions is that they shut off your mind. At once determine whether either is at the root of your plight, and if you find one of these emotions, get rid of it quickly. And you feel more optimistic.
You should share your concerns with people you understand and love. Talk through problems openly with them. If possible let them help you.
Don't listen to news. There is lots of negative news every day and most of the time it effects your thought process.
We live in increasingly negative times and a meaure of optimism helps us to fight despair and gives us the courage and the energy to shed adversity and negative thoughts.

My Favorite Quotations
One must never lose time in vainly regretting the past or in complaining against the change which cause us discomfort, for change is the essence of life.
Anatole France
Hope and patience are two sovereign remedies for all , the surest reposals, the softest cushions to lean on in adversity.
Robert Burton
We should not let our fears hold us back from pursuing our hopes.
John F. Kennedy
They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world. Someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.
Tom Bodett
Change does not change tradition. It strengthens it. Change is a challenge and an opportunity, not threat.

Keep Our Lives In Balance
Life is very precious. To live is to open ourselves to all possibilities, to rule out nothing. There is no way we can spare ourselves, or those we love, the pains of living, because they are inseparable from the joys. How unreal we are when we think we can save the world. First save yourself. All we can do is to live the best way we can, achieving a balance amid the forces that pull on us: pleasure, responsibility, power, greed, love. If we can live so that we respond to all of them, rule out none of them and yet enslave ourselves to none, We will have the best the world can give.
I have read lots of autobiography of great people and one quality all great and successful people seem to share is sense of humor....the capacity to see our struggles and triumphs with detachment. It is not easy but it is necessary if we want to keep balance in out lives.

You Have The Power
You have the power to set yourself free of negative thought patterns and behaviors.
You have the power to imagine the best for yourself and your world, and then immediately take steps in that direction.
You have the power to rise above the meaningless, petty distractions that can waste so much time and steal so much energy.
You have the power to fill your present moments, your life and your awareness with the things that have real and lasting meaning.
You have the power to be your best no matter what the circumstances.
You have the power to move forward no matter what setbacks or obstacles may block your path.
You have the power to live true to your highest vision of how life can be.
You have the power to follow and to reach the dreams of your choosing.
You have all this power because you have the choice. In each moment, you can choose, independent of all other factors, what to think, what to say, what to do and who to be.
No doubt it is a serious responsibility, it is also the most magnificent opportunity anyone could ever imagine. For you have the choice, and the power, to truly and to fully live your life on this planet earth.

Relationships
There is probably nothing that challenges us more than our relationships, since every aspect, every nuance of our life involves a relationships of some sort. Every waking and sleeping moment we are engaged in a relationship with something or someone....with our spouse, boss, children, friends; with co-workers, strangers; with our thoughts, dreams; and finally ourselves.
So in many ways this area of practice is the ultimate one, the one that we can acknowledge without a second thought is ever-changing and never-ending. We are never completely alone, for even when any given relationship is not active there is still a connection with that person. And it is important to remember that our behavior affects those we are in relationship with and vice versa. Remember, we are alone and solely responsible for our actions.
Here's how the practice of being challenged in relationship works:
Whenever the behavior of someone else bothers you, turn your focus around, observe your reation to this person, and ask yourself what it is about this that disturbs you so much, and why.
You should know that you cannot control anyone else....you can be a guide and a teacher and a power of example, but you can determine how someone else will ultimately think or behave.
Practice giving others the freedom to express and be themselves as they uniquely, without expecting them to conform to your idea of who they are or who you'd like them to be.
Communicate; compassionate communicate, caring communicate, and loving communicate.
Listen; listen attentively; listen carefully.
Let the most important human relationship you have be the one with yourself; from there you will be able to love others.
Never take anything too personally.
Never take anyone or anything for granted.
Express yourself. And rather than pointing out to someone that their behavior is bad or wrong, let them know how their behavior affects you.
Be alert, aware, mindful, caring, generous, forgiving, loving, gracious, and kind to yourself and others. All the time.

Powerful Thoughts On Adversity
Problems are the cutting edge that distinguishes between success and failure.
Problems....create our courage and wisdom.
M. Scott Peck
I think the years I have spent in prison have been the most formative and important in my life because of the discipline, the sensations, but chiefly the opportunity to think clearly, to try to understand things.
Jawaharlal Nehru
Prosperity is a great teacher;
Adversity is a greater.
Possession pampers the mind; privation trains and strengthens it.
William Hazlitt
Strength does not come from winning.
Your struggles develop your strengths.
When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.
Arnold Schwarzenegger
There is nothing the body suffers which the soul may not profit by.
George Meredith

Get Rid Of Your Anxieties
Anxieties create lots of problems in life. Most of them are man made. And just as you created them, you have the power to let those anxieties go. It may not be easy but it can be done if you try hard enough.
Past is past and what has happened has happened. What will come will come. You can make a big difference. You can take positive action. And your actions will be more effective when they're not burdened with anxiety. Your awareness will be remarkably more rich and clear when it is not clouded with worry.
You should free your mind, your body and your spirit to be more productive, effective, and full of life. Let go of those murky anxieties and use your full potential to achieve your goals.

Becoming A Better Listener
I am an especially good listener at home and with the people I love and care most. I am always listen to understand. And my understanding and the caring that it shows add greatly to the warmth and happiness of my friends and family.
I never spend time planning my next words when I should be listening to what is being said now.
When someone is speaking to me, I let him know that I am giving him my full attention. My face shows my interest and always shows the attention I am giving him and the words he is saying. I am a careful listener. I do not listen just to hear. I always listen to understand.
I listen not only to the thoughts of others, but to the voice that speaks from within myself as well. I listen to the inner voice carefully. This is the voice of my best friend and counselor, as I heed the advice which it gives me.
Every day I become more and more skilled in the language of positive listening. I enjoy practicing and improving my listening skills every chance I get. And I practice them with anyone I talk to, or listen to, anywhere I am.

Change Is Law Of Nature
Be flexible in adopting new changes and improvements.
Everything in the world is subject to change.
Change take place every minute.
We are not what we were even an hour ago.
Do not oppose changes, but use them as opportunities to learn and to grow. Otherwise we will stagnate.
Learn to respect change and try to cultivate them to your benefit instead of getting upset.
Also open to new ideas and suggestions.
Do not close your mind by keeping it rigidly fixed to some ideas, whims, and facies.
Remember there is always room for further improvement, no matter what stage you are at.

Always Move Forward In Your Life
Never ever cry over your past. What's done is done. The time and energy you spend complaining about it will get you nothing but a lot of frustration and negativity.
What's happened has happened.
Instead of looking back, fretting and arguing about why or how or who is at fault, look forward and consider all the positive possibilities that are available to you.
If you've been wronged, don't seek revenge.
Seek success, seek achievement, seek fulfillment, seek to take what has happened and turn it into a positive force in your life.
Always spend your time and energy not in looking back, but in looking ahead.
For that is where you can make a difference in your life.
Always learn from what has happened, allow it to inspire and motivate you in positive and productive way, and then choose to move forward.
Always see the value in the way things are at this moment, and see how you can make full use of that value.
Let go of your attachnent to what has already happened.
And make room in your life to create the best that can be.

Learn From Temprary Defeats
This statement speaks to the core and essence of us. Few of us win 100 percent of the time. But I can unequivocally state that I never fail because I never quit. You see, I, Like many of us, have experienced some resounding setbacks in my life. The secret to my success is that I never accepted these setbacks as defeats or failures. I never lost faith in myself or in my God. I never will.
By persistently and doggedly pursuing my dreams and taking risks when no one else dared to, I have enriched my life and the lives of others. I have gained experience and wisdom, which will benefit many people, and I have developed a resilience to defeat that is unbreakable.
This is a valuable lesson: do not allow other people to define success or failure for you. Your destiny can and will be fulfilled by your determination, faith and persistence. Do not allow the self-pity, the lack of self-reliance and unfaithfulness of other people, regardless of who they are, to prevent you from realizing your success and living your dreams.

The Power Of Decision
Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by beccoming more. In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our consistent actions. It's not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently. The key and most important question, then, is this: What precedes all of our actions? What determines what actions we take, and therefore, who we become, and what our ultimate destination is in life? What is the father of action?
The answer, of course, is what I have been mentioning all along The Power of Decision. Everything that happens in your life....both what you are thrilled with and what you are challenged by...began with a decision. I strongly believe that it's in your moments of decision that our destiny is shaped. The decisions that you are making right now, every day, will shape how you feel today as well as who you are going to become in the future.
More than anything else, I believe it's our decisions, not the conditions of our lives, that determine our destiny. You and I both know that there are people who were born with advantages. Yet you and I also know that we constantly meet, read, and hear about people who against all odds have exploded beyond the limitations of their conditions by making new decisions about what to do with their lives. They have become examples of the unlimited power of the human spirit.
If we decide to, you and I can make our lives one of these inspiring examples. How? Simply by making good decisions about how we are going to live in the future.

Positive Affirmations
I practice humility through silence whenever possible.
I develop wisdom by listening to others first, rather than speaking first. When I truly listen to other people, my awareness and abilities to communicate and to learn are improved.
I channel my anger and resentment to achieve success. When i am angry, I am full of anergy. When I use that energy for a positive purpose, I both achieve success and dispel negative emotions.
I will take time today to truly assess my strengths and weaknesses. I will then act on what is holding me back from realizing my full potential.
"I BELIEVE" These are two very powerful words. When I affirm these words, I have no doubt in my abilities or in my mission in life.
I will get off the sidelines today and get into the great game of life. I can and will make a difference in the lives of other people.
I will fulfill my obligations to God, to myself and to my fellow man by improving my life and thereby the lives of others.
I relive the most joyous moments of my life. Without a doubt, the most joyous moments of my life have been the intimate times I have spent with my family and my God.

Powerful Thoughts On Contentment
Nine Requisite For Contented Living:
Health enough to make work a pleasure.
Wealth enough to support your needs.
Strength to battle with difficulties and overcome them.
Grace enough to confess your sins and forsake them.
Patience enough to toil until some good is accomplished.
Charity enough to see some good in your neighbor.
Love enough to move you to be useful and helpful to others.
Faith enough to make real the things of God.
Hope enough to remove all anxious fears concerning the future.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Contentment is a pearl of great price, and whoever procures it at the expense of ten thousand desires makes a wise and a happy purchase.
Balguy
If a man has come to that point where he is so content that he says; I do not want to know any more, or do any more or be any more, he is in a state in which he ought to be changed into a mummy.
Henry Ward Beecher
Contentment is not happiness. An oyster may be contented.
Christian Bovee
I am content with what I have, little be it, or much.
John Bunyan
It is not being out at heels that makes a man discontented, it is being out at heart. To be contented is to be good friends with yourself.
Bliss Carman
Intelligent discontent is the mainspring of civillization.
Eugene V. Debs
All our discontents spring from the want of thankfulness for what we have.
Daniel Defoe

Power Of Prevention Works
I've always found it much easier to prevent certain things from happening than to fix or repair them afterwards. This applies to everything from health-related issues, to business decisions, and even personal relationships. By reminding yourself of the power of prevention and implementing its wisdom into your life, you can save yourself a great deal of grief, and, in the process, reduce some of the stress you experience.
It's easier for me, for example, to keep my weight down rather than to lose weight knowing this makes it easier for me to day NO to certain foods or to avoid excessive quantities. I simply remind myself that it's not worth the trade-off. The same applies to exercise. As hard as it can be to find the time, it's still easier to prioritize regular exercise....and stay in shape....than it is to try to get back into shape after weeks or months of nonactivity. Reminding myself of this simple truth sparks my energy level and resolve to exercise.
The same true in many business-related ventures. By attending to details up front, right from the start, you can prevent problems down the road. A background or reference check, for example, could in certain instances uncover information that would convince you not to hire someone. In this case, you might be preventing problems down the line. In addition, by practicing ongoing ethical business practices today, you create the necessary goodwill that can help you for years to come.
I've found that the idea of prevention also applies to my personal relationships....spouse, kids, and friends. These are just a few of the ways that prevention can make our lives better and easier. I'm sure that, if you think about your own life, you'll discover, as I have, the power of prevention.

Do Not Be Indecisive In Life
In every field there is an endless variety. A fickle-minded person becomes easily confused in choosing and deciding things. But if you see deeply, there is an underlying unity in this great diversity. The diversity and duality that we see in the world are due to ignorance. Actually, the same thing is reflected in various forms. Only the outer covering are different. The inside of everything is the same.
Spiritually endowed people are able to see such unity in this endless variety, and therefore are never disturbed or confused.
Because of this inherent unity, any field of work can bring you the same happiness, which depends more on your consciousness and attitude, than on the work itself.
Hence, opt out of the rat race of comparison which ultimately leads to madness without any resolution.
Avoid Giving Advice To Others
It is a good idea to avoid giving advice to others, unless asked. Concentrate only on your own progress in life. Do not waste time interfering in what others are doing. Also, avoid criticizing and finding faults with the deeds of others; only a person who is above criticism is fit to make a remark or comment on others.
Some people are in the habit of giving unsolicited, unwanted, and unnecessary advice to everyone. Give advice only when asked for it. If you are not qualified to comment, admit it instead of giving incorrect or vague advice.
It is always better to teach through example than through preaching. This is more powerful and effective. Also, you cannot persuade anyone against his will.
If you are running your own business or having a managerial position and have to get work done by your subordinate, it is inevitable that you will need to make criticism about their work. But again, this should be done in the spirit of suggestion, without involving ego disputes.

Avoid Greediness In Life
Avoid greediness, everything belongs to God. Do not claim anything as your own.. Whatever you claim as your own, is actually given to you only for temporary use as means to achieve your goals. All these possession will leave you one by one after their purpose is served.
It is not a good idea to become attached to any worldly possession and do not identify yourself with them. You are simply a caretaker for some time.
It is a good idea to avoid greediness, hoarding, and collecting of worldly possessions, which are perishable, changeable, and subject to decay anyway by their nature. You should be able to leave any worldly possession at a moment's notice. With this attitude you can eliminate the jealousy that is generated when you compare your possessions with others.

Realize Your Unlimited Power
Every person has the power to please others.
Every person has the power to make others happy.
Every person has the power to encourage others.
Every person has the power to help others.
Every person has the power to forgive others.
Every person has the power to make other people laugh.
Most people don't try to use this power.
When you have absolute faith in your hidden power, your talent will be demonstrated. The first step, when facing a job you have to do or a difficulty you have to solve, is to believe that you can definitely handle this task. The more energy you use, the more energy will spring forth with overwhelming power. So have total faith in your power. In this way you'll be able to accomplish any task, however difficult.
Everyone wishes for power. But power itself has no power. If good people possess power, the power becomes wonderfully strong. Such people demonstrate great power, leading the world to peace and others to happiness. That's the nature of power.
Why do you think you need power? If you think you need power for the sake of achieving your selfish desires, you are better off withour it. If, on the other hand, you wish for power to lead mankind to peace and happiness, God will grant you happily.

How To Face Your Fears
Everyone has some sort of fear in life. It may be brought about by any one or more of the following reasons:
1. By their own negative way of thinking most of the time. But are you going to let fear take over life?
2. By the influence of other people.
3. By a sad past incident.
You must take the necessary steps to overcome your fear. It's all in the mind.
Do you want to be a doctor but you are afraid that your intellect can't handle the pressure or are you worried about financial insecurity?
My suggestion is to face your fear head-on. If you are really determined to achieve your deepest desires and aspirations, a powerful force will enable you to reach them amidst every obstacle that comes in the way. Someone or something will always be there to help you attain your goals. Just have faith in your abilities. Your Will Power have the utmost capacity to accomplish anything with the proper mindset.
You could also use Visualization Method to help you in overpowering any kind of fear. Are you afraid of heights? Then imagine yourself being on top of a mountain, overseeing the magnificent sights. Enjoy and feel the moment. Take away all worries and anxieties.
This applies to whatever thing that triggers your fear factor. Just imagine being able to defeat it, then confront with the definite belief that you have the will power and capacity to do everything you want if you put your mind to it.
You must try your level best to control your fear before it controls you. It implies that with the proper mindset, determination, and will power, you can conquer your fears.

Always Love Your job
You just won't find anyone who has achieved massive success by doing something that they hate. To achieve success, you must find something that you absolutely love to do. Something that you cannot do. And do it well. Do it with passion, with excitement, with enthusiasm, with a healthy obsession.
That is not to say that you must become a workaholic. Because when you find something that you absolutely love to do, it's not work. Obsession with making money creates workaholics. Focusing on limitation creates workaholic. Don't focus pn making money, because then you'll be working. Focus instead on creating your dream job, on doing what you love to do the most. The money will come, but it is only one measure of your success. More importantly, you'll grow as a person. You'll grow into the person you were meant to be. You will fulfill your potential and make your unique contribution to the world. And that is worth far more than any check that anyone could write to you.
If your goal is to get to the point where you never have to work again, perhaps you should examine the nature of your work.
Hating what you do will probably not get you very far in life.
Try your best to find a way to love your work and you'll immediately have great success.

Human Nature
Human nature has not changed a bit since stone age.
All the advancement of science cound not change the human nature.
All the wealth of the world cound not change the human nature.
All the laws of the world cound not change the human nature.
All the religions of the world cound not change the human nature.
All the medicines of the world could not change the human nature.
All the wise and great men and women of the world could not change the human nature.
Most of us are still selfish.
Most of us are still greedy.
Most of us are still hate each other.
Most of us are still conscious of our color, race, and creed.
Most of us are still don't help each other.
Now the obvious question is why?
I don't know the answer.
I welcome your ideas on this important issue.

Healthy Ways To Express Hurt And Anger
Be honest with yourself....have an honest dialogue with yourself each morning about what is bothering you. give yourself the time to reflect on these issues in a place where you will not be distracted.
Seek support....sahre your feelings with someone who will understand your needs your reason for being angry without criticizing or judging you.
Direct your anger....your ability to channel anger can make all the difference in whether your feelings are positive or negative. Properly directed, anger can be a driving force in your life. But if channeled incrrectly, it can become mentally and physically destructive.
Think first....the old proverb that tells us to count to ten when we feel angry has a great deal of merit. eflection allows you to think before you react. You can consider what you want to say, why you want to say it and what will happen when you do. You can think through your options and react in a rational way. In the process, you free yourself from conditioned responses and focus on those that will improve the situation.
Be active, not passive....if you are passive in a situation that calls for action, your submissiveness will allow other people to take advantage of you. And this experience, in turn, will breed even more anger. Take action to resolve such situation. Get support if necessary.
Act, don't react....every time something angers you, ask yourself whether you will act or react to it. Being active allows you to maintain a sense of focus; being reactive does not.
Don't hurt anyone....uncontrolled anger can lead to violence on many levels. Domestic violence results from unmitigated anger, while war results from the egotism of leaders.

Powerful Thoughts On Competition
By competition the total amount of supply is increased, and by increase of the supply a competion in the sale ensues, and this enables the consumer to buy at lower rates. Of all human powers operating on the affairs of mankind, none is greater than that of competition.
Henry Clay
Don't knock your competitors. By boosting others you will boost yourself. A little competition is a good thing and severe competition is a blessing. Thank God for competition.
Jacob Kindleberger
You cannot do away the competitive system so long as trademarks remain to distinguish one product from another. You cannot cut out large-scale manufacture so long as there are established brands which breed consumer confidence and thus make mass production not only possible and profitable, but also economical.
Philip Salisbury
our partnership with associates is the reason our company has been able to consistently out perform the competition and even our own expectations.
Sam Walton
Today's competitiveness, so much imposed from without, is exhausting, not exhilarating; is unending....a part of one's social life, one's solitude, one's sleep, one's sleeplessness.
Louis Kronenberger
Our Creator has put in us hungers that this earth cannot satisfy. We cannot be completely self-contained on earth. Physical sense cannot give us a full life, nor can knowledge alone. No life is full unless it is linked to something that goes on after we are dead....if we have nothing more to live for than just to get ahead in a competitive system, then democracy will go down before other philosophies.
Ralph W. Sockmam
In business, the competion will bite you if you keep running; if you stand still, they will swallow you.
Semon Knudsen
There is tendency among some businesses to criticize and belittle their competitors. This is a bad procedure. Praise them. Learn from them. There are times when you can co-operate with them to their advantage and to yours! Speak well of them and they will speak well of you. You can't destroy good ideas. Take advantage of them.

Love Is Essential For Success And Happiness
Love is one form or another is the ruling element in life. It is the main source from which springs all that possesses any real value to man. It may be the love of knowledge....grand secrets have been wrung from nature....secrets which have contributed much for the advancement of human interests.
Love is an actual need, and urgent requirement of the heart. Every human being who entertains an appreciation of loneliness and wretchedness, and looks forward to happiness and content, feels a necessity of lovng. Without it life is unfulfilled and hope is without aim. Love is the great healer of all life's ills....the great strengthener and beautifier.
Love is the perpetual melody of humanity. It sheds its radiance upon youth, and throws a halo around age. It glorifies the present by the light it casts backward, and it lightens the future by the gleams sent forward. The love which is the outcome of esteem has the most elevating and purifying effect of the character. It inspires gentleness, sympathy, mutual faith, and confidence.
True love also in a manner elevates the intellect.
Love even brings to light quality which before were dormant and unsuspected. It elevates the aspirations, expands the soul, and stimulates the mental capacities for success.
Love purifies the heart from the self; it strenghtens and uplift the character, gives higher motives and a nobler aim to every action of life, and makes both man and woman strong, noble, and corageous.
Return good for evil, overcome anger by love; hatred never ceases by hatred, but by love.

Kick The Procrastination Habit
The Right Reasons.....you must ask yourself why you think you need to do whatever it is that you are avoiding. State the reasons why you want to or have to do it. Each reason you include in your list will be motivation toward success. If you cannot clearly say why you want or need to do it, perhaps you shouldn't be doing it at all.
Take Small Steps....you don't have to tackle the entire goal, chore, activity, job, task, project, or assignment all at once. You can take small steps, and as long as they are in the right direction, you will complete the journey successfully. Constantly remind yourself that it takes many small steps to create an enormous success. You can always take small steps, regardless of what the activity is.
Take Help Of Index Cards.....write out on an index card or on any piece of paper, the thing you are avoiding. Place the card in areas that you pass by often. You can put them on the fridge, on the bathroom mirror, in your purse or wallet, or on your desk. These small reminders will help you to get you motivated to start working.
Visualize When It's Finally Over....sit in a quiet room and close your eyes and picture what it will feel like when you are finally finished. Whether it's homework, working out, eating healthy, giving up smoking, waking up early, being positive, helping others, or writing a book, you will have the motivation you desire after seeing the finished product in your mind. If you simply start now, you will definitely get there.
What's Making You Procrastinate?.....what are you avoiding? If you can't seem to start working on a goal you have created, perhaps you need to take a second look at what you thought you wanted. Chores and required work are different, you usually just have to do it. It's a different story when you are putting off things you once desired.

Self-Image Is Essential For Success and Happiness
Success in life is directly related to our self-image. We are not what we think we are, rather, what we think....we are. Our self-image is the sum total of the various attitudes we have developed and accepted....the way we see ourselves.
Our achievement, effectiveness and creativity is governed to a large extent by what our self-image tells us we are. We will only have, be and do what our self-image is able and willing to accept. Performance is dependent on our image of our ability to perform.
To build a more positive, yes I can, self-image, you must repaint the mental picture you hold of yourself and your abilities. Visualization of a new you creates a new, life-enriching image of yourself and the real you emerges.
Positive thinking is vital to success. Thinking positive thoughts and reciting success affirmations are great, but how deep is your belief. If only on a surface level, they will skim over your basic self-image without affecting real change.
To reprogram your self-image, you must directly to the core of your being. Who are you, anyhow. Do you really deserve success, love, happiness. Can they really be yours. How much good are you willing to accept.
To build a new, positive, creative and satisfying self-image, you must be willing to stop judging and startv loving yourself unconditionally. You richly deserve love love for all that you arer, all that you are not, all that you are becoming.

Get Rid Of Doubt With Positive Thoughts
Doubt is nothing more than a thought, a thought over which you complete control. Doubt is a thought which you can dispose of whenever you choose to do so.
One very effective way to dispose of those negative thoughts of doubt is to replace them with positive thoughts. If doubt is holding you back in life, then choose to push these thoughts out of your mind with more positive, empowering thoughts.
If it's possible for you to think that you cannot, then it's just as possible for you to know that you can. It's simply a matter of replacing one negative thoughtv of doubt with positive of confidence. Thoughts of doubt will hold you back. Thoughts of confidence will push you forward. It's easy to see which thoughts will be more beneficial to you.
Is it really so difficult to transform "I can't do this" into "I will do this?" It's a matter of choice and you are the person who is going to make that choice. And that choice can make all the difference in the world.
You must push the doubts out of your thinking. Fill your mind with so many thoughts of confidence that there's no room left for doubt. Free yourself of doubt, and you'll be free to achieve whatever you decide to pursue....sky will be the limit.

Everything Has A Price
A person in control is a person who can perceive realities correctly. And one of the most important realities to understand is that absolutely everything in life has a price: love, friendship, material gain, a relaxed mind, the freedom to come and go as you please....anything which adds pleasure to your existence. If you think otherwise, you only open the door to endless frustration. Whether the required payment be in money, time, energy, discomfort, try not to kid yourself. Just pay it so that you can enjoy the rewards of a clear mind and a happier life.
Eliminating people problems requires that you face the reality that people possess an unlimited number of potentially harmful traits, that you learn the art of spotting these harmful traits.....That you develop the ability and self-discipline either to ignore their harmful actions or, in extreme cases, just stop meeting them.
Intimidation....motivation through fear....is one of the ways people use to cause others problems. You should not get into their traps.
When someone bugs you with irrational rhetoric actions, just ignore him. That is the best way. You have no obligation to deal with irrational people. You have a right to live your life as you please. You should live on your own terms.

Failure: Making It Work For You
Without failing, you cannot succeed. Succeeding the first time simply does not happen very often. What are the chances that you can try something new and do it successdully on the first try? With a little logical thought you will realize that id doesn't work like that.
Failing is just finding out what is not working. It's narrowing down the many possibilities until you find the right one.
Always learn from failing. If you do not learn from your mistakes, you will take nothing away from the experience. You must learn from failing. If you learn from each attempt you are succeeding.
Study each attempt. If your goal is to stop being negative, study each failure. If you find yourself becoming negative at work, take the time to think about the causes of your negativity and what you can do to remedy the situation.
Risks. A must for success and happiness. Life is too short to always play it safe. If you did this, then you would be passing up opportunity that could make your life happier and more fulfilling.
The fear of risk taking is the culprit in many unachieved dreams and goals.

Strategies For Tactful Conversations
If you are worried about your communication skills, this may sound like a difficult challenge. Fortunately there is an easy way to learn the basic elements of tact.
Think before you speak. The best way to prevent a verbal blunder is not to say it in the first plave. Avoid tactless comment by thinking about what you want to say and how you want say it before you say it.
Accept your mistakes quickly and say sorry.
Converse, don't complete. Do you approach conversation as a competition in which there is a winner and a loser? Is it your aim to impress people with your knowledge and verbal skill by punching holes in their opinions, arguing over details, or correcting their mistakes? If you adopt an aggressive, "TALK TO WIN" conversational style, then you will certainly impress people, but in the wrong way.
Time your comments. Before you lay your convertional cards on the table, be sure the person to whom you wish to present your viewpoint is ready to listen.
Focus on behavior....not on personality.
Uncover hidden feelings. Saying difficult things tactfully is more likely if you first attempt to uncover and understand the other person's feelings.
Listen for feedback. Poor listening skills frequently lead to tactless comments, criticism or indiscreet remarks.

Motivational Thoughts On Persistence
When discouragement tries to beset you; when it seems as though your efforts toward success have been in vain, remember to hold on to this statement: nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. A good statement to use in the face of distressing setbacks is: I am not discouraged, I am persistence and I go forward in life. Remind yourself often: I am not on the way out, I am on the way up.
You must remember that all it takes is a little more persistence in thinking big, working steadily, and expecting big results in order to bring them forth in your life. People who chase dreams are the most likely to catch them.
Always meet difficult experiences with persistence. Physical science has discovered that everything can be reduced to a few basic elements and that if the entire universe were destroyed it could be built up again from a single cell. In like manner, you can expand or rebuild your financial world from a right attitude which you persistently hold to. By refusing to give up or give in to failure, finally is worn out by your persistence and gives up its power to success. When hard experiences appear on your pathway, meet them on their terms with persistence, expecting success to come out of them.
Persistence alone is all powerful. If one does not persist, one does not achieve lasting success in any field. If one does dare to persist toward success, regardless of lack of education, background, talent, influence, lack of money, one can and achieve success. Persistence is a characteristic to which success invariably surrenders.
Failure, disappointment or defeat simply as signposts that success is just around the corner. Use them as great incentives to forge ahead, and achieve your goals and aspirations in life.

How To Develop The Quality Of Decisiveness?
The first of the principles that we must come to understand closely is the quality of decisiveness. The ability to say yes at the right time, and then move into action with everything we have got, or learn to say no under high pressure tactics and make your decision stick.
The special technique of reaching valid, and supportable decisions comes from three easy mental thinking. These are:
Listening
Finding facts by raising questions for discussion.
Sorting and evaluating the information that is gathered.
Also you must learn something about logic. The main goalm here is to learn the steps that produce logical thinking and with the trait of logical thinking added to one's abilities, the characteristic of decisiveness grows and expands as an attribute in your way of doing things.

Accept Responsibility For Everything In LIfe
From today onward, accept complete responsibility for everything you are and everything you will ever be. Refuse to make excuses or to blame other people for your problems or shortcomings. Stop complaining about things in your life that you are not happy about. Refuse to criticize other people for anything. You are responsible. If there is something in your life that you don't like, it is up to you to change. You are in charge of your life.
The biggest mistake you can ever make is to think that you work for anyone other than yourself. You are always self-employed. It does not matter if you are working for somebody else. When you see yourself as self-employed, you develop an entrepreneur mentality, the mentality of highly independent, self-responsible, self-starting individuals. Instead of waiting for things to happen, you make things happen. You see yourself as the boss of your own life. You see yourself as completely in charge of your physical health, your financial well-being, your career, your relationships, your lifestyle, your home, and every other element of your existence. This is the mindset of self-made millionaire.
Remember, self-responsible people are intensely result oriented. They always take high levels of initiative. They volunteer for assignments and are always asking for more responsibility. As a result, they become the most valuable and respected people in their organizations. They continually prepare themselves for positions of higher authority and responsibility in the future. You should do the same and I assure you that you will achieve success beyond your wildest imagination.
You should identify your reasons and excuses for not committing wholeheartedly to your financial goals. Is there anyone or anything in your life that you are blaming for holding you back? Whatever it might be, accept complete responsibility for your life and take action today for your success in life.

Acknowledge Your Inner Intelligence
I'd like to differentiate, for a moment, between your intelligence and your innner intelligence. Most of us enjoy or at least have no problem acknowledging how smart we are (for example, at figuring things out with our intellect). Few men, however (at least I've spoken to), seem to acknowledge an even deeper intelligence that exists within all of us.
Our inner intelligence, when trusted, is a great source of comfort. Some people refer to inner intellligence as wisdom. Whatever you call it, it's that part of us that knows what to do. But it knows what to do, not because you've racked your brain about it, but because you've allowed an answer to come to you.
As men, we often pride ourselves on our ability to go through things. We like to think that we can do it, so we rely on hard work, perserance, and effort. And the good news is, very often that's a great assest that works well.
On the other hand, there are times when we would be better served by backing off or by not trying so hard. The truth is, there are times when we don't have an answer or don't know what to do. Other times, we are pondering on question of the heart....something that requires not intelligence in the traditional sense, but wisdom.
Suppose, for example, that you need to have discussion with your teenager about the dangers of drug use or to talk to your wife about a concern you are having. or you need to look at an old problem in a new way. There are many times when cookie-cutter answers don't fit or when turning to experts or common knowledge won't work. Usually, these times are related to matters of the heart. They are issues that require a deeper type of intelligence.
Wisdom transcends traditional intelligence. Instead of surfacing when we find our mind with data, information, and plans of action, it shows up in the absence of these things. In other words, instead of thinking about an answer, we actually stop thinking of an answer. We consciously empty our mind, which has the effect of allowing this other, more unconscious form of thought to unfold. We simply trust that the answer is in there, even if it's not immediately apparent.
On the surface, this might sound a little weird because it's more difficult to qualify this type of intelligence. While it's not as visible as traditional intelligence, I can assure you that it's anything but weird. To the contrary, it's a powerful and extremely effective way to approach life. The answers that you receive will delight and perhaps even surprise you. You'll find yourself saying things like, "Wow, where did that come from?'
Knowing that you have this type of intelligence within you is very reassuring because it lets you off the hook. Instead of panicking when you don't have an answer or pretending that you do....you'll feel more peaceful knowing that if you quiet down and wait, you'll find an answer just around...the corner. By experimenting with this type of intelligence, your life will become richer and more peaceful.

How To Get Along With Others
Try to say less than you think. And how you say it is often often more important than what you say.
You should not make too many promises which you can't honor them.
If criticism is needed, do it gracefully and tactfully.
Let everyone you meet feel that you regard him as a person of importance.
It is always a good idea to discuss the problem. Don't argue. It is a quality of a rational mind to be able to disagree without being disagreeable.
You should not indulge in gossip. it is a waste of time and can be destructive.
You should be considerate about the feelings of others. Any humor at the expense of a friend is not worth it, and it may hurt more than you know.
You should not pay too much attention to insulting or derogatory remarks about you. You should behave in such a way that nobody believes him.
You should not give too much importance to rewards. If you deserve credit someone will definitely remember. Success is much sweeter that way.
You should not burden those around you by dwelling on your minor aches and pains and small disappointments.
Always remember: The true measure of an individual is how he treats a person who is not behaving well with them.

Live For Today
It's fine to have long-term goals, but if all your goals are in the distant future, you may never get around to enjoy them. Why put your life on hold? Instead, begin to view each day as special....one that you won't have next week, or next year. Life is short and you never know when it will end. That doesn't mean you should live wild, but it does mean that you must recognize that today counts.
Make a commitment to put your energies into today. By living your life one day at a time, you reaffirm your choices and live life to the fullest. No matter what comes, you will make each day a constructive one in your life.
Every morning when you get up, look at life and see what positive thoughts and actions you can take to confirm your legacy.
Can I do something for my legacy?
Can I be patient?
Can I do something for others?
Can I be compassionate?
Can I take care of my own mind and body?
Can I live with what's in my heart?
Definitely you can all these things.
Once you set these ideas in motion, they will become a pattern of behavior that works for you. You will start to feel more relaxed, confident, honest, and flexible. You will have a much greater range of intellectual and emotional happiness.
Make a list of the things that matter in your life. Are you doing these things now and living a positive life, or are you always planning for some time may never come in the far distant future?

Discipline Is Essential For Success
Discipline is a choice....discipline is not an innate human characteristic....something you were born with or without. To be disciplined or nondisciplined is choice you make every minute and every hour of your life. Discipline is nothing more than the process of focusing on any chosen activity without interruption until that activity is complete.
To become what others refer to as a discipline person requires that you "DO DISCIPLINE" over and over as a conscious act until repetition makes discipline a subconscious habit. Communication And Success
When you wish to say something in the best way possible, take the time and make the effort to listen first. Commuication is the most effective when it is a two-way, interactive process. You must listen carefully, thoughtfully, attententively, with focus on what is being said and who is saying it. You must listen not only with your ears, but also with your knowledge, your intuition, your compassion and your genuine desire to understand. Listen well, and create a powerful connection with those to whom you listen.
You must seek to understand, and you'll be much better able to make yourself understood. Listen well, and you'll learn the most effective way to say whatever you have to say.
The most well-chosen words come from first using your ears before you ever open your mouth. Listen, really listen, and you'll have plenty of valuable things to say. If you master your communication skills, nobody can stop your progress and success in life. So you must spend lots of time to learn this important and essential skill. Good luck.
